COMBI project closure

The new COMBI online tool has been launched during the final COMBI conference on 17 May 2018. The tool contains all major project quantifications of Multiple Impacts of Energy Efficiency and links to the relevant project reports on methodologies. As leader of three workpackages, ABUD conducted research on labour productivity from building refurbishment and transport.

ACE ENERGY DAY: Presenting Materials and Technologies from LEEMA, iNSPiRe and A2PBEER

Pioneers into Practice is Climate-KIC’s professional mobility programme. ABUD as a Host organisation welcomes three professionals and delegates two colleagues to other organisations in the spirit of transition thinking.

Results and progress will be presented of three FP7 projects: LEEMA, iNSPiRe and A2PBEER on 16 June from 13:30 onwards in the Maison des Associations Internationales in Brussels.

The conference will present various innovative materials and technologies in thematic sessions on Lighting, Façades and Insulation.

Our A2PBEER research project now has its own video! The project is developing a new approach to renovating public buildings using a mix of established building solutions and advanced, innovative solutions – hence Affordable and Adaptable Public Buildings through Energy Efficient Retrofitting.

At the International Building Physics Conference (IBPC) the paper of Adrienn Gelesz and Dr. András Reith was accepted: Climate-based performance evaluation of double skin facades by building energy modelling in Central Europe. The presentation was held by Adrienn Gelesz.

Mérték Studio won the public tender for the permission and construction plans of the Pannon Park which had been announced by the Budapest Zoo. All the work related to sustainability and energy design is provided by ABUD.
